Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Custom Development Work

At UmmeedLabs, we construct customized software systems, SaaS web engines, design mockups, and API integrations. Because each project is tailored specifically to a client’s business requirements, resource allocation, and development timelines, we do not offer refunds once a project milestone has been completed or after a custom software asset has been handed over.

2. Deposits & Onboarding Fees

Any project initiation deposit or onboarding fee is non-refundable. This deposit secures engineering scheduling, architecture analysis, and UI wireframe designs which begin immediately upon agreement of terms.

3. Milestone Cancellation Terms

Clients may choose to cancel a project engagement at any milestone point by providing written notice:

• Upon receipt of cancellation notice, all development work will halt immediately.
• Any milestone fee paid for the phase currently in progress is non-refundable, as engineers have already been reserved and code assets created.
• No future milestone invoices will be charged, and any outstanding invoices for work completed up to the date of cancellation will remain due.

4. Software Maintenance Subscriptions

For clients on ongoing monthly maintenance, code updates, or team retainer support packages:

• Monthly retainer subscriptions are billed in advance and are non-refundable.
• You can cancel your subscription agreement at any time. The cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing cycle, and you will retain service access until that period ends.
